Biography

Seth Masarik joined the economics department at Boise State University in 2007, shortly after receiving a B.A. in Spanish and minor in economics. As a recent graduate of Boise State University, he is currently working with Dr. Siân Mooney as a research assistant.  

Their work focuses on the voluntary consumer carbon offset market, a fairly new environmental market that offers many opportunities for research and investigation.  They are conducting an industry study to find out more information about the consumer carbon offset market. Their goal is to describe the market in general as well as the source of offsets sold in this market.  

Seth is an active participant within the Boise State community and as a new staff member seeks to be more involved within the economic department.
