The Geetha Raha Scholarship is awarded annually to an eligible candidate who, in the opinion of the full-time economics faculty, has the potential to become the "best professional economist." GPA is a factor in the selection process but it is not the sole deciding factor.

Eligibility Requirements
This scholarship is available to all junior and senior Economics majors. Candidates must also have completed at least 6 credit hours of upper-division economics courses.   

How to Apply              
Candidates are not required to file an application for this scholarship. Students meeting the above criteria will automatically be reported to the Department of Economics for consideration.
